CHAINED BEASTS SET TO STORM STEAM & CONSOLES ON OCTOBER 15, 2026
Co-op gladiator roguelike locks in launch date, reveals the final Rome chapter with a new trailer and announces new platforms ahead of release
Sydney, Australia — Tuesday 15th September — Featherweight Games announced that Chained Beasts, its 1-4 player co-op gladiator roguelike, will launch on Steam, Game Pass for XBOX and Windows PC, PS5 and Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2026 at 10:00am PDT (5:00pm UTC).
In Chained Beasts, players are bound together — literally — as they battle through chaotic arena combat with up to three friends, using chains and the environment itself to defeat enemies and win over a bloodthirsty crowd. The October 15th launch will include three arena chapters, beginning with Carthage, then journeying to the frozen wastes of Germania, before players take the battle to the heart of the Roman Empire.
The studio also confirmed that Chained Beasts will be included in Game Pass for XBOX and Windows PC alongside the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Steam release on the 15th of October.
The Carthage demo chapter, available now on Steam, will be taken offline at launch, giving players a limited opportunity to experience the game's co-op combat for free ahead of the full release.
